Designing and Placing Veneers

If you are found to be a good candidate, we will begin by preparing your teeth. Dr. Wiseman will remove a very small amount of enamel, roughly the thickness of an eggshell, from the front of your teeth to ensure the veneers fit properly. The exact amount will vary from patient to patient. With a focus on conservative methods, Dr. Wiseman uses only the most gentle techniques during treatment and will only remove as much tissue as necessary.

After your teeth have been prepared, we will take digital impressions to send to a trusted lab for fabrication. We may provide you with a set of temporary veneers to protect your teeth and prevent sensitivity. Once the permanent veneers are ready, you can return to our office for final adjustments. If you are satisfied with the look and feel of the restorations, Dr. Wiseman will bond them in place using a specialized dental cement.
